Sure, it may be just a big-screened refresh of this year’s Galaxy S6 Edge, but Samsung’s managed to pack the new handset’s wider, thinner frame with a litany of improvements. We’ve published an in-depth hands-on review, but here’s a condensed rundown.

Samsung’s Galaxy S6 is widely considered one of the best smartphones the company has ever made, in terms of both design and power. As usual, the firm has already produced S6 spinoffs, including the Galaxy S6 Active. However, recently, a puzzling report hinted that Samsung may launch a 5.5-inch Galaxy S6 Edge Plus phablet. Here’s what we think we know about the device.
Samsung Unpacked event planned for August 13

This is what we think it will look like

Noted leaker OnLeaks posted a new press render of the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus in mid-July on Twitter, showing an image quite similar to lớn the image leaked earlier in June. Consistent with what we are coming khổng lồ expect, it looks very much like the larger version of the current Galaxy S6 Edge.
The leaker also posted a few pictures which allegedly show dummy models of the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus next khổng lồ the original S6 Edge. The dimensions of the Plus are said lớn be approximately 154.45 x 75.80 x 6.85mm. The earlier rumors of the phone featuring a 5.5-inch display appear khổng lồ be confirmed, as well.

Another leak from SamMobile reports the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus (model SM-G928) is going under the codename Project Zero 2, & is not part of Project Zero or Project Zen. This leak also suggests slightly different dimensions for the phone, which are 151 x 73mm. Lớn further complicate things, it is now suggested that the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus could wind up with a 5.4-inch or 5.7-inch display.
